BUT that doesn't stop me from being ready!
I have been busy working on baby announcements.
I also have a welcome gift wrapped and ready to go so thought I had better make a card to go with it.
So, here's my 'Welcome Baby' card.
and a closeup (I really have to figure out my camera settings - closeups are always blurry).
I used the 'Little Additions' stamp set from Stampin' Up. This set has some really cute stamps in it but they are soooooo tiny. Well, tiny for me be but fortunately some are not as tiny as others. I inked the crib then inked and cut the cute little teddy bear. I then stamped the sentiment and made a little banner. This was all matted on a Top Notch die cut with my Big Shot from SU marina mist cardstock. The choc. chip colour cardstock was actually embossed with large polka dots but I think I should have used small dots to be more noticeable. The ribbon is marina mist and then after adding a bow a safety pin was poked thru (guess I better stock up on diaper pins)!
It was fun to make - finally I get to make cute little baby layouts! Well...soon...very soon.
This grandma can hardly wait!!
