I'm Still Here!

It's been a crazy month but I haven't forgotten about you. We're in the midst of kitchen reno's and my scrapspace is cluttered with dishes and kitchen appliances as we await a new countertop. To make matters worst, we have family visiting from Ontario and they have their luggage, etc. in the same room - so I can't even get to my kitchen stuff let alone my scrapping!

But oh how much I miss it! I just want my life back in order - don't get me wrong - our kitchen will be fantabulous when done and I love having family here but - a girl needs to scrap!

Family flies out on the 31st and a new countertop comes Sept. 1st with the painter on the weekend.

I have projects waiting and of course pics of our adorable new grandson to scrap so September cannot come soon enough.

Okay, I can't resist.











Isn't he just the sweetest! I love being a grandma - he just brightens my day when I see him.



Anyways, I also have cute cards to post from our last couple geek clubs but cannot get to them to even take a picture.

Hopefully soon though I will be up and scrapping again. I can hardly wait!

It's Official!

At 9:47 AM on Sat. August 6th I officially became a Grandma! Evan James Connors

weighed 7Lbs. 3 oz and is 19" long. Such a tiny bundle of joy!

Mother and baby are both healthy and doing fine. I am proud of my daughter-in-law as she went thru most of her labour at home then despite having a 45 min. drive to the hospital she did not go there until 3 hours before delivering. Once there she had a natural childbirth as she refused epidural. I give her credit - not sure if I could do that! Well actually, I KNOW I COULDN'T!!!!!!!!!
